Purchasing a Clay-Bourne Porcelaine
We currently have available for rehoming, a few dogs in need of re-homing due to a break up of family circumstances. Should you be interested in obtaining further information or questions, then please contact us direct.
NOW TAKING LISTS FOR PERSPECTIVE OWNERS FOR PUPS DUE EARLY SPRING 2008
We recommend that a prospective purchaser reads thoroughly through the links on the web page and takes due time to consider the Porcelaines needs rather than buying on impulse with the lure of it being an exclusive new breed to the U.K.
It is also worth getting in contact with us to see if we have had a cancellation, returned or re-claimed dog.
We have provided one other approved non commercial breeder with a suitable bitch for breeding. Should you wish to be put forward on a no obligation waiting list for either breeder, then you can contact us directly. Please ensure that you inform us of any changes in requirements or contact details.
Generally a puppy is not released until they are fully inoculated and worming is complete, this is approximately at ten/ twelve weeks of age. This is to prevent any cross infection which could endanger the puppy's health and welfare.
During this time, castration/ neutering is normally undertaken.
We generally operate a five step plan should you wish to be considered in purchasing a Porcelaine;
1. Initial contact by the prospective purchaser, in which we can advise and answer any initial questions etc.
2. The purchaser may be invited to meet and greet the hounds at show or home.
3. A home visit to the prospective owner is preferred with the chosen hound to ensure good integration with other pets and family members.
4. If all is well and agreed then a sales contact can be signed.
5. Finally, the fee can be paid and the new family hound member can be taken home. We can deliver in some cases.
In particular it should be noted that as the breed is new to the U.K and for purposes of furthering registration with the Kennel Club and commitment it is expected and encouraged that contact is maintained between the seller and buyer.
We only accept cash sterling, bankers draft or cheque up to the value of a valid cheque guarantee card and proof of address. Please note until a cheque is cleared the dog will not be released. Post dated or multiple cheques will not be accepted in one transaction.
We do export on some occasions based on individual merit.
